Final beam goes up on CTE building

Ector County ISD's new Career & Technical Education (CTE) high school is one step closer to reality, and on track to be completed in time for the 2027-28 school year. On August 4, school board members and district leaders signed the final steel beam before it will be lifted into place. A brief tour of the building followed.

The ATLAS CTE Center will be a state-of-the-art facility, and home to 400 full-time students and some 2,000 others who will take CTE elective courses there.
